eDiscovery Direct is a service that allows
anyone with an internet connection to
process and publish electronic data in a
matter that is cost effective and legally
sound without having to buy expensive
equipment and have extensive knowledge.

eDiscovery Direct is different from other
electronic discovery software applications
because you do not have to install or
maintain the large systems need to complete
everyday electronic discovery.
eDiscovery Direct is different than most
service providers because we will make you
conform to our workflow. Out approach
is the exact opposite, our tools will allow
you to capitalize on existing workflows,
capabilities and service providers.
Our service will act like a common thread
that will tie it all together into a
complete workflow solution.

There are a number of workflow options with
eDiscovery Direct. They can be broken
down into two main categories:
web
workflow
and
robust workflow. Web
workflow allows you to interact with our
services via a web interface and would allow
you access from any web browser worldwide.
Robust workflow involves add a server to
your network and would allow you to have
many more file transmission and workflow
options.
There are three main ways of procuring our
services:
- Project Model - We will
provide products and services on a per
project basis.
- Contract Model - Based on
your needs we can provide products and
services at a negotiated rate for a
period of time.
- Subscription Model - Based on
your needs we can product products and
services at a fixed rate per month based
on a pervious period's volume, needs and
users. This allows client to
control their costs even if they cannot
control their volume.
While we don't have an evaluation version of
the software, in selected cases we will make
available the limited term license for proof

Yes. You file transmission system uses
SSL and 1024 bit encryption to insure a
complete and secure transfer to your data
center. Our data center is a nuclear
fall out shelter designed by the military
core of engineers and has been converted
into a level 3 data center with key card and
biometric assess only.
For our web based workflow, all you need is
an internet connection and current web
browser, either Windows or Mac compatible.
There is now simple answer to this question,
it depends on how much we can compress your
data before we transmit it and how big your
pipe to the internet is.
We use a custom compression algorithm to
compress our data before we transmit it to
our data center. For example, during
our tests we moved a 3.35GB data set across
a 380KBPS line it should have taken 25
hours, it took 10 hours and 24 minutes.
Compression rates will vary depending on our
data.
The connection you have to the internet
will also have effect the speed.
Transmitting large file sets can also affect
other users on your pipe. We have a
number of different features that allow us
to control how and when data is transmitted
to and from our location. They include
rules based routing and bandwidth
throttling.

Sarbanes-Oxley complaint auditing and
logging systems. Not only are we
compliant to the high standards of corporate
regulation but also so the stringent
standard of evidence preservation.
